HDEC received a high volume of application submissions towards the end of 2020, more than its scheduled meetings could review due to the Standard Operating Procedures limiting the HDEC to 12 applications a meeting. As a result, the HDEC secretariat following ongoing discussions with the Committee, was able to come up with two additional meeting dates over January and February 2021.
These extra meetings can only hold a maximum of 6 applications each. Only the overflow of submissions made in 2020 will be assigned to one of these two extra meetings.
The extra meetings holding a maximum of 6 applications will be held on:
- 29 January 2021 from 9am – 12pm
- 12 February 2021 from 9am – 12pm.
Details of the meeting and how to take part will be sent out to research contacts the week before meeting dates.
HDECs will endeavour to hold as many extra meetings as possible in order to clear the backlog of applications submitted at the end of 2020 and over its shut down period (23 December 2020 – 17 January 2021). We will keep you updated via Online Forms and the HDEC website as new meeting dates become available.
